Taiyo Nippon Sanso successfully demonstrated hydrogen production from ammonia, achieving the quality needed for fuel cell vehicles, contributing to Japan's 2050 carbon neutrality goal.

Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation has extended the range of raw material carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations applicable to CO2 recovery equipment with a capacity of 10 tons per day, to enable CO2 recovery from a wide range of CO2 emission sources.

Nippon Gases, a European subsidiary of Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation, is part of the DevH2forEAF Project (Developing and enabling H2 burner utilization to produce liquid steel in EAF), one of the 25 research projects in the coal and steel sectors selected and funded by the European Commission in support of the Green Deal.
